I have applied to enlist in the United States Marine Corp. I took the ASVAB at the Raleigh MEPS Station and scored 132. I passed everything on the physical except my eyesight. I had excessive refract. Two days later a civilian eye doctor filled out another form on my eyes. One eye is -9.0 diopters and the other one is -12.0 diopters. I was disqualified. I applied for a waiver and was denied one. Now I am trying out for the Army. I hope that everything works out so that I can go into the military. I am still rootin for USMC though!!
